Host: Gerry Potoka started stand-up comedy because being a public educator just isn’t quite entertaining enough. Transplanting from Richmond County, North Carolina to Raleigh, Gerry’s personal experiences and perspectives offer a unique portrayal of his day-to-day life, career, thoughts, and feelings. Through performing up and down parts of the East Coast, having worked with Gaspare Randazzo and Sam Salem, featuring on Don’t Tell Comedy shows, as well as performing on and producing shows across North Carolina, Gerry is guaranteed to make you chortle (that is a smart people word for “laugh”).
Feature: (Artsy) Musa is an American Stand-up comedian, actor, and content creator. Musa started his comedic career as an on-air personality at 101.9 in New Bern, North Carolina, and began doing stand-up comedy in local bars around North Carolina and bordering states his fast-paced punchlines and unique perspective earned him spots featuring for Rodney Perry, Micheal Blackson, Karlous Miller, D.C Young Fly, Mark Norman, Ronnie Jordan, Bruh man, Darren Brand, Darren Fleet, and Sinbad. Currently preparing to shoot his first Stand-up special this summer Musa is definitely a comedian to keep your eye on.
Headliner: Aaron Ransom is a North Carolina-based stand-up comedian known for his southern charm and sharp wit. Often described as the real-life version of Kenny Powers, he captivates audiences with his relatable humor and friendly demeanor. Aaron has performed at numerous comedy clubs throughout the South and has worked alongside big names like Jon Reep and Big Jay Oakerson.
A finalist in Helium’s North Carolina’s Funniest contest, Aaron has also been featured on comedy albums, including Helium’s "Best of Comedy." His engaging storytelling and laid-back style leave audiences in stitches, cementing his reputation as one of the funniest comedians in the region.
