Host: Shane Smith is a stand-up comedian, improviser, podcaster, and actor based in Raleigh, NC, whose comedy swings between hilarious slices of life as a married cat dad and absurdist, off-the-wall humor. He's performed at festivals and clubs all over the country and has been featured on HBO Max and Sirius XM. His podcast Conspiracy Beer Me was voted one of spotify's top comedy podcasts. He's had the privilege of sharing the stage with comedy legends like Kumail Nanjiani, Kevin Nealon, Charlie Murphy, and Ralphie May. Whether he's cracking jokes about life at home or diving into the weirdest corners of his imagination, Shane always brings fresh energy to every performance.
Feature: Kellen Blair is the winner of the 2023 “NC’s Funniest” competition at Goodnights Comedy Club, where he hosts and features regularly. His punchline filled retelling of experiences in working construction, dating, recreational drug use, and family life leaves crowds laughing in hilarity and bewilderment.
Headliner: Jason Allen King is a comedian, writer, actor, filmmaker, and bird watcher from Charlotte, NC. Capitalizing on his personal experiences, family, and relationships (or lack thereof), King’s comedy offers a unique perspective on familiar situations. A northerner who’s been living in the south too long, he has endeared himself to audiences across the country pushing boundaries with a sharp yet positive spin on observations and self-deprecation.
Fresh off the release of his Dry Bar Comedy Special “Nobody’s Emergency Contact” and a once-in-a-lifetime pandemic, King is back touring the country. He has opened for renowned comedians like Ryan Hamilton, Josh Blue, Preacher Lawson, Pauly Shore, Fortune Feimster, Rob Schneider, Christopher Titus, Colin Quinn, and Dave Attell.
